Back in the Day

Kantouni first opened its doors in 1985, a small local café frequented by locals and tourists who reached Pyrgos to explore the famed medieval Casteli. Serving simple, homemade dishes made with fresh garden produce, Kantouni soon became a loved hotspot in Pyrgos village.

When the time came for the family’s younger generation to take over the restaurant, Kantouni entered a new era. Renovated, renewed and with fresh culinary proposals from all around Greece, Kantouni is now a modern, welcoming restaurant that still maintains the amiable atmosphere we have all loved over the years.
